I have written lots of articles about different crystals, their properties and correspondences and I thought that it might be nice to write about simple ways that you can use crystals in everyday life. I have chosen a few of my favourite ones and the best thing about them is that these crystals are all readily available and inexpensive.
To start working with crystals you do not need to buy an expensive and impressive Amethyst cave or a beautiful crystal bowl. These things are lovely to have but are not necessary. The most important thing about working with crystals is to use your intuition. Your body, unconscious mind and indeed, your very soul will know which crystals you need to be working with. You will be drawn to them, whether in a shop, when you bare looking to buy a crystal or when you are sat with your collection of them. Just as I have been drawn to write this article today.
Sleep
Let’s start with sleep. Sleep is the way that our body and mind rejuvenate itself. Lack of sleep makes us unable to function properly as a person. Whether this manifests itself as irritability or a lack of judgement, we have all experienced sleep deprivation at one time or another. One way to help you get a restful nights sleep, I have found, is to grid your bed with amethyst and rose quartz tumble stones.
This is basically as simple as having four amethyst and four rose quartz stones and placing one of each under the mattress on the four corners of the bed. If you are trying to induce your baby to sleep well you can place the crystals by the legs of the cot. Please remember to pick them up in the morning if your baby is mobile or you have other small children in the house to avoid a choking hazard.
Keep a sleep diary and experiment with the number and position of the crystals to see what works best for you. You may find that placing the crystals under your pillow and at the foot of the bed works better for you. Everyone is different and there are no rules.
Money
Let’s face it, love it or hate it, we all need money in this world in order to exist. It would be wonderful if we could all live in this world in love and harmony and all work together to provide what we needed to enjoy a fulsome and contented life. However, until we reach such a wonderful state of nirvana we have to earn money to pay our bills.
A simple way to ensure that your purse is never empty, however, is to place a natural citrene stone in your purse and this will ensure that your purse always contains money. It must be a natural citrene though and not a heat threated amethyst.
Since learning this many years ago, I have always kept a small natural citrene tumble stone in my purse and I have never been in a position where I could not cover my bills.
